Water damage from a leaky window in St. Cloud, Mn.

This home in St. Cloud, Mn had a leaky window over a lengthy period of time.  The homeowner noticed the leak and contacted SERVPRO of St. Cloud.  When we arrived at their home, we found the window to be leaking and tested materials to be wet below the window and down into the basement.  We removed the sheetrock below the window to find the insulation wet and moldy.  We removed this and and were able to treat the studs with an anti-microbial agent.  The water damaged the wood flooring near the window in which a portion was removed.  It is important to dry out or remove and wet materials in your home before they begin to mold.
