Storms can come in all shapes and kinds!

Typically when we think of storms, we think of spring and summer storms.  However, storms can come at any time in Minnesota.  This winter we have had ice storms along with snow storms that have caused damage to homes and businesses.  Cold weather can cause pipes to freeze and then burst.  Ice dams on roofs can cause water damage to ceilings in the interior of the home.  This homeowner returned to their cabin to find water damage throughout the main and lower levels.  SERVPRO of St. Cloud responded to their disaster and removed the materials that were not able to be restored and dried the remaining materials.  The initial photo is the saturated carpet that is a different color due to the amount of water and how long it was standing on the carpet.  The second photo shows the drywall and flooring removed with the air movers in place.
